Fault Code 11 - What to do?!

Hey guys!

I have some issues with my GTIR since a couple of mounths and now i've check the fault code that was giving by the computer.

I've search once and it gave me code 12 for the MAF. Reset the computer and now it's the code 11 for the CAS.

Do I need to order a new one aand change it or I need more diagnostic?!

And how to reset propely a computer pour the Nissan Pûlsar GTIR?!

Thanks for all your help,

Regards,

Unplug the battery for an hour it will reset itself. If your cam sensor would really be bad the car wouldn't start. As for the maf your car would start but run really bad and wouldn't Rev past 2k rpm.
I would check further for electrical gremlins and test another ecu.

Yes the car has some miss fire. With no load we don't see any difference on the REV but when running it have bad misfire..

I've tested all my wires for every sparplug, change all my spark plug, look for fire on every spark plug and everything is all right, but still having no power, like miss fire. When I hit the fuel accelerator slowly it take it pretty well, but when I snap it it doesn't respond well, it buck so bad..

Before I change my MAF the idle was really high (about 1400rpm) and when I've change the old GTIR MAF by a 300ZX MAF, my idle is now about 1000rpm.

But still having the problem of miss fire (sounds like or sound like injector are fueling too much). The car run really rich, having some back fire in the exhaust.

Last year I've change my knock sensor thinking the problem was this part. The car was running a bit better, but still having the problem of miss fire.

Last winter I've completly rebluit the engine with OEM SPEC.

I've recently change my ignition sensor and my resistor dropping for the injector, but no change with the problems.

If someone can help me with this, the car is not running since 6 month about and it's driving my crazy..

Or if someone near montreal can try to help me, I'll appreciate!!

Hmm its running rich, what kind of tune are u running? It could be coilpack or the O2 sensor. U can messure the voltage from the oxygensensor, if its ok the voltage should be pending...

Wait, what ? You tried different maf sensors without tuning the car ? It doesn't work that way. Your high idle is usually the iac valve stuck open and I had that kind of miss fire problem before : it was the iac valve gasket. A hair line crack in the gasket can cause heavy back fires in the exhaust and the fack you run pig rich is a vacuum leak somewhere.

Remove your iac valve to clean it with throttle body cleaner or intake cleaner with a old toothbrush. It's not a easy job because you have to remove the 3 bolts holding it with a 5mm Allen wrench behind the intake in a area with almost no space. Never reuse the old gasket, new iac valve gasket part number is 23785-54c00. You will also have 2 connectors to unplug and you'll have to do it before removing the 3 bolts.
