SR16VE build

Hello guys,

I have made a rebuild from Sr20VE to Sr16VE -
by replacing :

SR16VE oem pistons
Sr16VE oem crank
Sr16VE oem Rods
added SR16VE N1 cams
Cometic 0,8mm gasket
And Remappable ECU "Hestec"

I seem to have lost some power somwhere, can somone tell me where have I gone wrong with the build ?
The dyno is showing 160hp and 151nm ( the original specs of Sr16ve show 175hp and 161nm )

As told in many places tahat the Sr16ve N1 cams give you more power, does it have the same effect on sr16ve ?
are there some more differences on 2,0 and 1,6 engine? like injectors or something ?
I don´t have any mass air flow meter on it , due the remappable ECU, so this problem should be out of the table.

Thank you in advance :)

Are those numbers you got at the dyno at the wheels ? Crank hp and wheel hp are not the same

N1 engines had 8 injectors 4 up top and 4 on the bottom of the intake. Maybe you a starving it for fuel with those cams?

so the nobesrs from wikipedia are crank hp ?

but still I was running it without N1 cams and sr20ve showed me 205hp with lightweight flyingwheel and remappable ECU
( the original specs are 186hp but I had 205hp. )
Now I´m running the same setting with Sr16ve + N1 cams and I got less power than the original specs show.

they work well viht SR20VE - so they should work with SR16VE even more fuelwise.

Those numbers are normal if you run a sr16 crank. Not enough stroke to create hp. A sr20ve crank and rods with sr16ve n1 pistons and cams run around 220-230hp at the crank

And yes numbers from Wikipedia are at the crankshaft, not at the weels

Sorry, it's 220-230hp at the wheels but with a really good tune
