not to bad..comes on full boost about 200rpm later but up the revs the lag increase is not noticable. seems to pull a bit harder now. not bad for $240 shipped.
Hey man, where did you find this kit? I've looked all over ebay, and it seems like there aren't anymore FMIC kits for the R on there anymore, i always used to look at tons of them, but now there aren't any on there...?
I'm sure the core is the same as the DSM kit.. with some work plumbing it seems not to bad ... PS I'm in the middle of a group buy for meth kits it you don't have one.. it fits neatly where the battery is normally located... I could get a great price on IHRA.NHRA approved Morroso Battery boxes as well.. this probably needs it's own thread so as soon as i get pics of the battery relocate I'll let you guys know

they dont seem to be on there now..you can buy directly from xspowers site..yes i still have a/c but i will be removing it over the winter as the r is going on a serious diet. will post some pics as soon as i get them uploaded.
The one on xs-power.com is 4 inches thick, thats to big for the gtir i think. I went out today and took some measurements and such and with it being 4 inches you pretty much have to cut the whole bottom of the bumper out... I'm at a loss as to what to do...
you don't need to cut the bottom of the bumper out. The how-to's on the modifiers site show exactly what needs to be done to fit the cooler.
If you can be arsed, get the generic ebay ones that don't have the blue pipes. They are almost all the same and it's the same one I got. It works really well and the only thing I wish I did differently, was drill neater holes through the inner fenders for the pipes.

No and no. You will definitely have to trim the bumper, and the AC won't give you any problems, but you will have to relocate your overflow bottle somewhere else. (I put mine in front of the radiator support)

will move it to the rear..goint to mount a bottle there for my water/meth kit any way.
