Distributor Oil seal

Car has been sputtering to its death at idle, and then when I short the consult port it flashes code 11.

I checked distributor and its dripping oil from the cap..

Found a thread on another forum, showing rebuild of FWD sr20 distributor.

Heres where the confusion come: distributor on our car is specific to the gti-r P/N: 22100-54C01- (note the 54c designation)

Does anybody know if this seal is the same as the regular sr20de distributor?

Has anybody done this procedure?

Seal is not listed on fast either, but the P/N of the sr20de seal is supposedly B2131-01M00-

FAST Parts Master however does not show this part as being used at all on the SR.

Only reasonable thing I can think of is Nissan does not want you to fix the dist.. they want you to replace it.

22131-1e401 looks like it has been used on altima and stanza cars until 1996

22131-1e401 looks like it has been used on altima and stanza cars until 1996. Also it was shown on your picture on partcode 22100E, the one on the bottom.

Erik, I did see u13 listed on nissan parts master. But it was for the ca series engine. Also the o ring on the diagram stops oil from leaking between the head and the distributor. The problem I'm having is oil leaking through the distributor via the distributor shaft. This o ring does not help.
Anyways I took the distributor apart and it appears to be the same as the b13 guide I saw on the other forum. I'll let you guys know how the rebuild goes.
The seal was so dry it broke apart removing it.

OK let me clear something. Part master on the fast program only work for the last catalog you opened and if you think about it altima cars here never got the CA engine but the KA24. Also I hate the part master so I use www.nissanpartszone.com when I search JDM parts on Canadian market.
Also as you said on your first post, these distributor are not meant to be rebuilt. I know that suck as it is listed around 700$ new at the dealer so you could try to get a used one until you find how to fix this one, i 'm sure someone here have that lying around in their garage on a spare engine.

Disassemble the distributor.  Take the seal to a machine shop or parts store and see if they can match it.  The leaking oil can cover the slots of the optical sensor rotor; I believe that is why it misfires.  Is the code related to cam/crank position?  While you're in there, you should replace the bearing too.  I've seen the bearings wear out and cause the shaft to wobble which causes the rotor plate to contact the optical sensor housing.

Thanks for the tip Erik, didn't consider that I don't even have the usdm catalog installed on my computer.. And the bearing is in good shape, but I'll be replacing it anyways and that is exactly what I am doing with the seal. The distributor is already apart I said I will post my results

FYI code 11 is the crank angle sensor or CAS

And another point: the distributor is discontinued.. If there is any left over in japan.. Expect a price tag of 700+

You can still buy spare parts for the distributor on ebay. I think i saw a crank sensor on their UK website. I also found a complete used distributor at JDM importers for 180$ here in Montreal but still it's strange that they discontinued the distributor at the dealer as they still make parts for cars way older than ours.

New seal is cr 12x22x7 hmsa rg radial shaft seal by skf. The part they used on the b13 was x6.5 but using a vernier on the old one showed a depth of 7mm

Yup.  I think it's similar to the RWD SRs with direct ignition.
