Hi beloved GTi-R owners, I bring u all sad news, I am nomore a GTi-R owner, I did not get to enjoy my new buit engine or my car, some FUC*ER burned down my garage, were my GTi-R was parked. All my tools and parts, I mean everything is burned to the ashes, but most sad of all is that there is nothing left of my GTi-R, just a burned out wreck. I want to kill the fu*kers who did this!
The fire was not directed to me, there was a car parked outside my garage on the outdoors parkinglots and according to witnesses they said that the car was a burning wreck and it started to role against my garage were the fire continued spreading, there was some riots were I live, and the rioters where kids (13-17 years old) who threw rocks and shits against the police and firefighters because some fucking idiot was arrested while driving on drugs and I dont get this? U break the law and use narcotics while driving and expect not to get arrested??
My car and garage were fully insured but there is no money that could bring back the time and effort I put into that car, it was a genuine GNN14 EuroSpec, and I was almost finished with the engine that was built with only the finest part I could find.

Sorry to hear that. LHD gti-r were rare even brand new and now a completely built car is gone.
So what will you do next ? Another project in mind ?
Yes I will, I really want a LHD Eurospece GTi-R, but there is nada on the europeen market. In Sweden where I live there is 3 gtir´s on the market, two of them are RHD high mileage and in bad shape and the third is a converted RHD to LHD in bad shape and bad gearbox high mileage.
I will buy a Skyline R34 GTR or a Mitsubishi Evo 6 TME. There is skylines in germany but all of them are RHD, but I heard u get used to drive RHD after a week or so. The Evo´s are pretty hard to find in good shape. I spoke to a guy with a black EVO 6 TME, but it was recolored and the paintjob was really bad done/performed.
I also always had a passion for Bmw´s, i thought about M3 and M5 e39, my friends think I should buy a BMW, I like them, but it is not my style. I like the JDM cars and the joy u get from building and tuning.
If u guys have any tips, I would appreciate it.

Don't let a car being RHD put you off. I've been driving them for 10 years and its second nature to me. I switc between LHD and RHD on almost a daily basis. If a car you want comes up, just buy it.
A car is a car, clearly you're a car person and can adapt. Remember, there was a time when you hadn't driven any cars at all.

I have been doing the same here. Canada is a LHD market.
Right now I have 3 cars : the RHD gtir I bought in 2006 that I use as a summer car, the Infiniti G20 1996 (nissan primera 2.0 gt in europe) that I use as a daily car and a beater, and a nissan sentra 1993 that I bought recently for a project involving a bluebird sr20det engine swap for drag racing and lapping.
I switch often from LHD to RHD and I'm used to it. The first week will be the worse. After that you gradually get used to it. The only thing that get on my nerves is the flashers and the wiper sticks are in a inverted position on RHD cars and i often start the wipers while trying to use my flashers lol.

Although there is nothing that will bring back your GTi-R, or the super sweet parts you had gathered; the time you spend enjoying the build process will be with you forever.
Since the GBP has fallen in value quite a bit recently, maybe you should look to the UK to pick up a new ride! Best of luck, I hope I get to see more updates in the future!
