S13 front brakes.. possibly
So i was at my friends shop where a lot of s chassis going on happens and had my front calipers off and decided to see what all is different. i found that 1, S13 has a larger piston on the caliper and the only modifications i see are that the slider pins are different size.. they appear to be in the same location the slider pins on gtir brakes thread in where as s13 ones bolt in, the only modifications i can foresee in adapting would be to tap the holes where the pins bolt to to accept the gtir pins. has anyone heard of this being done? ill probably be giving it a go this weekend. the larger cylinder means it would at least be somewhat of an improvement over stock not giant but an improvement none the less

I wouldn't change only the piston size. If it means bigger pads or bigger rotors then go for it, but a different piston size just throws off the braking bias from front and rear.
I used j30 calipers which do have a bigger piston size but I also used the caliper brackets which accept a much larger pad, and a bigger and thicker rotor (280mm vs 259mm and 28mm thickness vs 22mm)
That said, the braking will probably feel better due to less pedal force, but just not actually be any better and be a lot of work. Try it anyway though if you want and let us know how it works!
bigger pads only help with wear rate and heat capacity. pad compound makes a difference. larger rotors and pressure applied do as well.
....pad compound makes a difference, but so does the size. A larger swept area means more braking torque for the same force and pad compound.
