OEM slave bored over to 7/8"
So I blew my clutch slave.
I got the correct part numbers off here to rebuild the stock slave... 2 weeks later from nissan
Then I found out my slave was bored out to 7/8" for better pedal feel on my Exedy 6 puck. FAIL
Internet research led me to find this was a common mod to do.. and then led me to the replacement part
A slave cylinder from 88-89 isuzu Truck is 7/8" available from my local Napa next day for $25.00
so I went to my fav machine shop and asked how much they would charge to get the stock slave bored out from 3/4 to 7/8 and honed smooth..
the guy said between 30 and 50 bucks..
result:
you can get better pedal feel on an after market clutch for about $75 depending on your local shop rates.
WIN
Mine isn't bigger than yours.. I just like to drive

So, are you going with the Isuzu Truck slave (already at 7/8"), or are you boring out the stock slave you got from Nissan?
All go, no show
