New Brake Upgrade Over Winter

As the subject reads the new brake upgrade for winter, half done and should be ready for spring.
Am planning on putting my current front brakes on the rear but am still trying to figure out how to work the ebrake in. Thinking I might need a second caliper on the rear in order to make it work.

Caliper off of a Porsche Cayenne and rotor is from a R34 GTR, also had to get a bigger brake master cylinder from a 300ZX.

nice, those calipers must have been a pretty penny

Not as much as you would think. For both about $1000 including shipping

right, stupid mortgage. Modifying cars is such a better investment :D

It look good Rubix, are those 8 piston caliper? Price probably works out to the 6pot kit from Wilwood but with a little more headache.

I was going to do the same with my front stockers. I think the solution for the E-brake may be using a hydraulic one.  only issue is inspections might not pass it but is you get creative with some fake cables an the e-brake does come on :D

Let me know how you get it to work

yah, the prices in vancouver are pretty ridiculous... hence the massive mortgage, which probably keeps me out of trouble.  without this mortgage i'd probably be driving a boosted 370z or used nsx with the lovefab turbo kit.

anyways, you should take a look at the fastbrakes rear brake setup for sentra's.  they've got a 11.75inch kit with a wilwood caliper.  it'll help you answer your questions probably.  giant brakes are great and all, but with such a light car i think you'll have very flat spotted tires.

I know the tires are a little crappy right now but come spring will pick up a better set.

They are 6 piston calipers not 8, I don't think I could fit any bigger brakes in a 17" wheel.

I won't have ABS so I hope I will be a good enough driver and not get any flat spots on the tires.

if you want a mechanical e-brake for peace of mind:

Wilwood has these...  just fab a bracket
