Help needed with coil overs

Hi, Well I went to adjust my Tein coil overs today and I found that my drivers side spring and top seat was loose. I showed it to my mechanic friend and he pointed out that the top seat(or whatever the piece directly on top of the spring) had been rubbing on the upper mount, he said that I was missing the bearing that should go between the mount and the seat. I am not very familiar with any coilovers (I had bought the car with the coil overs already installed) I have looked on the tein website and I cannot find any bearings, does anyone know where I can get a bearing? or even a set of stock struts to get me through an insurance inspection. I have read that B13 and NX 2000 have the same front struts, is this correct?

Thanks in advance

Ok, I have decided to send them into Tein to get rebuilt.

Probably a good call on sending them away.
I think probably your bearing that allows the spring to rotate freely of the top hat has collapsed. Might just be a cartridge bearing but I guess you would have to take the strut out and take the top hat apart to try and see what kind of bearing it is. If it is cartridge then it will have a number that you can reference to get a new one.

It definitely shouldn't be binding.  The oem struts have a thin roller bearing to allow free rotation.  I haven't taken my coils apart so I'm not sure what type of bearing is in there.
