err.. you'd either have to reprogram your ecu if you used a z32 maf, or use a piggyback to alter the signal.
its not an 'upgrade' it just allows more headroom if you max out the oem maf's voltage limits. adding a z32 will do nothing for power gains, it just outputs a lower maf voltage at the same flowrate of air on a gti-r maf.
i hate to thread jack especially being a new member but my question is, how does the wire pinout go on the gtir maf? like abcd which ones are 5v 12v and grounds
so on the maf it self, abcd which wire hooks to which slot? were wiring it in on a sentra doing a swap and cant figgure out which connection is which...were starting to think A isnt used but not sure...already killed two ecus
not quite what i was looking for, i have tht part taken care of however i need to know where its labeled ABCD on the maf sensor which wire goes to each pin as far as i know its 12v gnd gnd 5v however im not sure if this wiring is correct...please let me know
You can use a Z32 Maf from a 300zx there is a wiring diagram you can find on the net or maybe even on this site, But its an upgrade for the R

i have an extra one, i switched it out when i thought it was the problem with my car, i'm not actually totally sure if it works or not

There's only 3 wires used in the 4 pin connector.
1. Orange wire is for the MAF signal 5v
2. White is the MAF ground
3. Orange wire 12v MAF feed.
I used a voltmeter to double check which wire carried the 12v.
You can always refer to this picture:
