Pulsar factory service manual and FAST System
OfflineHowdy guys. New'ish here but have had my pulsar for about a year and a half now. I'm selling it but before I leave the community, I thought I would see if there is any intrest in some information I've collected.
I've got the complete Nissan Europe Pulsar service manual, it covers all models of "Sunny" and Pulsar, from the NX1600 and 2000 to the diesels and right up to our beloved RNN14 SR20DET. This takes the car down to the last nut and bolt and made my life a lot easier when I pulled the engine to do the clutch.
I also have the Nissan FAST program.
I was thinking that I could put it all on a CD and send them out... maybe in return, interested parties paypal me a five'r to cover the nickel for the CD or DVD depending on the total size and the buck or 2 that it will cost to mail them out and the time to burn them. Let me know. I'm not really in this to make any cash (at least not quickly) but thought it would be good to pass this out while I'm still somewhat connected to the GTIR world.
As an after thought, I wish I'd found this board (or at least joined it sooner) it is a lot easier to talk with guys that have this car than with all the young bucks out there that just want to bag on some civic and piss the neighbors off... PM or reply if there is any interest.
And if your looking for a better-than-it-should be parts car, check out my Pulsar, its a full on runner but nobody really seems to want to buy it right now...

Do you have any service manuals left? that would really help out with alot of the electrical stuff im trying to figure out.. the owner before me had 20 different ricer gadgets like shift indicators, tachs, shift lights, infometer, electronic toll collection thingy for japan roads.... so needless to say i have alot of wires that im not sure about...

OMG just buy a new harness! that's got more electrical hacks than an Indian phone line!

"DMan" I feel for you buddy... taking all that crap out will probably improve your 1/4 mile times just on the weight savings alone!

OK have a few burned. The FAST system will have to be transfered to it's own CD after you get it home. All the information is on one DVD right now. you MAY be able to install the FAST system right from the folder on the DVD but I'm not computer expert... it may calve on you unless you put in on it's own CD.

Whats the word on the service manual? Is it on CD? If its a big beefy book I wants it! Willing to pay a decent amount to get it too.
it's a big beefy PDF file. Sorry. I printed one copy off, just the pages that pertained to the GTIR and it was enought to absolutely STUFF a 3" binder, pages were double sided too.
In hind site it was probably a big waste of my time to print it all off as it would have been just as easy to print the pages I needed, as I needed them.
The FULL manual (all the pages in the PDF's) is about 2500 pages.
