nissan parts swaping
OfflineSo the pulsar is basically a collection of a bunch of different nissan models. That is clear. i'd like to ask you guys what you've found in tearms of part interchangability. i know that alot of under hood engine components from sentras and infinity g20's are swapable. i recently had to replace my alternator with an infinity g20 replacement. Sure enough it looked the same and was a direct fit. i know from reading on the forum that brakes are shared from the nx2000. I'd like to gather as much info as you guys might have to compile a list not just for myself but others as a quick reference. there are a few parts that i'd like to try and find alternatives for just because they're a pain to get from overseas. For instance the front srtut bar. ive been told that the strut mounts are close to the micra. I've also noticed that the 93 up sentra headlights are very similar to the gtir's. in the next couple of days im going to give it a shot and see what i can do to make them work. Any info you have would be helpful. thanks!

But back to the topic at hand. Just off the top of my head... Airbox is the same as an nx2000, cup holder is the same as the sentra. Interior parts ie: door handle, centre console, lots are the same as the nx2000. Brakes were already mentioned.
brakes are not that same on the rear, theyre gtir specific, no other car carries the offset, front are the same as a nx200 with abs, headlights ive been told are something simliar to a EF civic

just looking at ebay the headlights off the 95 sentra look really similar to the gtir. i think i'm gonna go down to the wrecker tomorrow to compare. if it'll work with a few mods i'm gonna go for the black halo smoked lens lights with black markers. Think it would look pretty sick. Thanks for the other info. if anyone has more keep it coming. have some serious plans for the car this spring. What about body kits. Has anyone thought about or know of any close match ups.

i say we just list the parts to nissans that are sold in canada and US.North america is a total cluster FCUK when it came to the same maker but Mexico,USA and canada all had different models available.and you can thank POS USA for that!!!

Would the sentra front strut bar fit around the intercooler or would that require you to have a front mount?
Have a 95 sentra aswell, and was looking over some things today. washer fluid bottle, rad overflow tank, hood latching mechanism. And this one im trying to figure out, the IAC is the same, but part of it is spun 180 degrees but i'm pretty sure its the exact same, has the same purple and brown plugs on it too. brake fluid bottle the same but spun 180 also.
What about the fog light & switch?
