Interior light door switch question
I have a kit to add a timer. The diagram shows the 12V supply interupted to go to the new control panel. The switch has three wires running out of it. Which one is the 12V supply? Thanks Ken http://www.velleman.eu/downloads/0/infosheets/infosheet_k3500_connection.pdf

Ok so the first 2 pins on the digram are your timers power suply.
the second two pins are for an on off switch enabling the timer. The third set of pins interupt the GROUND of the ilumination circut so the "IN" should goto GROUND and the out would not interrupt the ground from the door pin but "T tap" into the ground wire from the door pin so the timer can ground the ilumination circut and the door pins can stil ground the circut if you shut the timer off (if you interupt the ground and decide you dont want to use the timer your lights wont come on when you open the door!)
hope this helps... not responable for any electrical problems ;)
Mine isn't bigger than yours.. I just like to drive
Bump. See my install post "Interior light delay timer". I suppose this can be deleted. Thanks Zed.
