Disabling daytime running lights
The R i got recently some how has daytime running lights,so i guess for some type of compliance it was done.when i turn the key is when the running lights turn on.where would you think they wired the lights to turn on with the key?
look at the light harness at the headlights. Find the wire that does not look fctory, and take it out. Mine had a wire coming from the relay bank in the fenderwell.

Mine has a wire wrapped around one of the spark plug wires, and a box is wired straight to the battery. I imagine with the car running it just picks up a signal from the plugs. If I removed that one wire it would never get the signal to turn on.
When I got my first R they put the terminal box under the driverside dash.

Just look for the box that's clean and has only english on it lol
