dash lights
Hi guys, I found out some of my dash lights arnt working ... When I open the driver side door the light dosnt come on but it does when I open the passenger side door, normal ? Also my low fuel light dosnt seem to want to come on also ... could this mean my check engine light isnt working as well ? My hand break light works, and the one to the right of the hand break also works (im guessing its the catalyser, correct me if i am wrong)... anyways how can I fix this ? Is it wiring ? Fuses ? thank you in advance.

Your Drivers side door switch is Fubared. Remove it open it up, and watch the plastic pieces fall out. Easy fix, get a new switch.
Did you actually run it out of gas? The only way you can be sure there is a problem with the circuit without taking the dash out to check the bulb. Mine doesn't come on until it is OUT of gas, ei you have 10 more blocks of driving.
u really shouldnt be running your tank that low neways.. you'll pick up crud off the bottom of the tank, or you'll cause fuel starvation and possibly kaboom
Well I am just worried about the check engine light ... is there a way I can check if it works or not ... My mass air flow sensor has to be regrounded and sometimes screws up but no check engine light ...
have u tried pulling the engine codes to see if the check engine light works?
nope, how should this be done ?
i suggest u learn how to use the search function before asking questions
The lights should all come on when you turn the key forward without starting... its a bulb check... Also besides sudden fuel starvation when throttling out of a corner and going into boost. The pump relies on being submerged to keep it from overheating. Fill up at a 1/4 tank and your gold man.
Mine isn't bigger than yours.. I just like to drive
