yeah there the right ball joints. but i used as micromoter on the stock ball joint and its like 1.015 and the nx ball joint is 1.513 its almost a half an inch bigger than the stock one. the lenght and threads and everything are all the exact same.

I second that, only need a bit of sanding down but it can be made to fit very snug.

whats the symptom of a worn ball joint?

nothing feels loose or moves when i shake the wheel, but i can hear knocks and feel some steering feedback about those knocks when i get out of my driveway, or when i get into a parking lot and hit a bumpstop

sounds like a blown out cv joint to me. normally when a cv joint is going out/pretty bad you hear a "clicking" like sound and wil probably feel something in the wheel too. check to see if you have a ripped cv boot. on my car Iv ripped the 4 outer boots in the front. i havent had the cv joint go out yet on this car so its just a guess

Interesting idea. What kind of adjustment can be gained with this?

Well, it's a 0.040" eccentric. So you'd get 40thou of caster, or camber, or a combination of both to some degree. It's not much, but it's more then I can get right now..

Wow...cool development! When are these available to the rest of us suckers?

just yanked one of my balljoints out....and then realized that my nx ones i bought to replace them dont fit. stupid. I forgot all about this. I tried grinding but made them a hair too small.

I need confirmation from anyone ASAP!!! if they have used a part that has worked. otherwise I'll have to get some nx ones machined.

needed a set same day, and crappy tire was only option.  Got a pair of 94 altima ball joints.  they were about .016" bigger than the gtir ones but pressed in with no problem, and I'm actually quite glad they are over snug.

BTW u13, p10, n13, and b12 chassis all share the same ball joint that fits perfectly in our control arm.
