dependant on ecu,
gti-r maf will only work with gti-r ecu
unless you have a daughterboard that is retuned for the gti-r maf
or you have a safc/emanage or aftermarket fuel controller/management system that translates the maf voltage
A ford lighting maf works on my GTiR so Im prety sure it doesn't matter as long as you have proper tuning

Like Nick said, as long as you have the right hardware in place to intercept and modify the MAF signal sent to the ecu, you can use pretty much any MAF you want.
i have the same ecu like ull. the code is ac.. i have a oem sr20de maf and it not reading properly

get the correct maf- the gtir maf is 54c00 or you can use a avenir maf 54c01
