Tranny..stuck in fourth

Alright so my car is stuck in fourth, the shifter moves freely but not into fourth gear.
I am wondering if it is the shift linkage or the tranny is messed.
I was told loosing reverse or fourth is the common problem.
Another question is what type of clutch should i use?
I was told i can use any sr20det clutch, or even a maxima clutch?
i need some guidance help me out please!

any sr20det clutch, if you get the flywheel you'll have to redrill the flywheel bolt holes bigger.
you'll need the gti-r clutch release bearing though.

spec clutches are really good and not too expensive. about $400 for a stage 3 which is good for 400+lb/ft torque.

you can get an os giken super single, comes with a new clutch release bearing, lightweight flywheel for roughly 850$ tax in, in japan.

The clutch is also about 12lbs lighter than the oem clutch.

I'm picking one up end of this month when i head over to tokyo.

is that all that the differences are? The rwd clutch has smaller holes for the flywheel bolt holes? thats it?

yes, any rwd sr20det clutch will fit.
the flywheel bolts are bigger on a gti-r
u have to use the gti-r clutch release bearing, not the rwd sr20det one.
