The hoses ordered 5 days ago arrived today via dhl express flyer package, with an additional 10% to gov't at the door.
They're marked Autobahn88 and appear as above sealed in a'88 bag. The Autobahn88 part number is ASHK156; ZENRacing on eBay calls it ZEN040725. There's a lifetime warrantee card too: http://www.autobahn88.com/warranty/ along with small decal.
Pretty good deal for around $110 del. to the door, thanks for the info!

*** EVERYONE, if you change these, make sure to replace all the old OE clips by new once (the screw type at canadian tire are fine)... since the silicone hoses are a tiny bit smaller in exterior diameter, you will not get the coolant ones to hold down properly ... thus a big spill of coolant on your exhaust next time you run the car hard. I found this the hard way, just wanted to avoid you this unfortunate situation. Cheers, --McDave

Dave, sorry you had that trouble but thanks for the info!!!

I did this last time i had my engine out and they've worked fine. But alas the oil cooler hoses weren't included. I knew i should have replaced them but of course i didnt. I'm paying for it now though as one blew. I got the cooler and hoses out with the engine in place, which was quite the job considering i had to take the dreaded y-bracket off (it will get thrown in the trash now unless someone wants it(ha)). Needless to say im about 10 hours in and there is a hole in one hose and the other one is very spoungy so i'll replace them both. Very frustrating but i did end up having a little fun putting on my brand new state of the art exhaust tip. isn't it boss?!

Posted: Mon, 08/22/2011 - 10:37am

someone tell me where the long straight one goes? I replaced mine last year, but couldn't find that one for the life of me lol

(insert sex joke here)

but seriously, there didn't seem to be anywhere to put it.

the long skinny one actually runs to the turbo. Is that actually oil, or is a water cooled turbo? I do not know.

This looks like a completely different supplier than anyone else has used. They look like they're legit, I'm about ready to make the purchase so please post up if you have any info for me about ZPC.

Yes its a joke, its a plumbing drain pipe. I could probably sell it to the honda guys for a few bones though.

That's unfortunate. I cannot find a Samco or Autobahn88 hose set. If anyone has any leads or another good vendor, please let me know.

Unfortunately, it's the ZPC that's showing up on eBay. I'll have to ask the ebay seller some pointed questions.

If you havn't already changed out the radiator hoses and are thinking about upgrading the coolant hoses to silicone ones then here's a full kit with all the hoses.

Major Props!

Are they good enough for a fairly good build ? Or they really cheap compared to samco one's ?
Was really thinking about buying the kit

Posted: Fri, 02/10/2012 - 3:49pm

I like the look and feel of it, obviously I haven't used it in action yet, but I will be running the car in time attack this season so will know next fall if it can handle the heat!

Posted: Fri, 02/10/2012 - 7:54pm

These are as good as the samco and less than half of the price, AU$85 delivered to Canada
