power dies after certain rpm?
hey guys it's been a while post it up here. anyway I brought one topic for you guys. I have done couple things to the car which are changed all fluids (engine, tranny, diffs no brake, clutch yet) I customized exhaust from the turbo to muffler (3.0inch to 2.5inch at the back) I also have changed intake ( after market) and 1bar loop. I was totally fine with this setting no problem anything but last night I was going back home and suddenly I felt lose power on 3rd or 4th at around 5000rpm. It was werid so I tried again and again but i couldnt feel the same way I felt in first time. I was thinking it could be just stock turbo was struggle to die? or it was just normal that lose power after 5000rpm? misfire?? i havent changed spark plugs and wires yet (it's bit over 110,000kms) or could it be clutch? seems it use OEM cluth and I added couple mods to the car so Clutch dies fast??? from what I know about cars, I cant find reason why my car was doing like that.. I need your opinions thank you guys !!

lol subtle...
people turn up the boost, put mods on, and yet u don't do a simple, cheap thing like check the plugs or wires or fuel filter or cap n rotor or fuel pump.. boost fixes everything i guess
i like that...lol "boost fixes everything" im goanna phone raymond @ silverstone and just tell him to turn up my boost, bolt everything back up and away i go.
Haha funny. Thank you Nick
This one I have now, it stumbles and hesitates right at 5000RPM. At stock boost, it could stumble through to 6 and then pull hard again, with the 1BAR loop, it pretty well dies at 5K. The GTi-r will do tat until it reaches operating temps, then it removes the limiter. I think mine is a bad coolant sensor as I've changed plugs, wires, cap and rotor, ecu, MAF, boost and fuel...
I went from a 530WHP GTR to a 220HP GTi-R, but I'm still smiling....
