ignition module???
my car bogs like a son of a bitch when temps go up but when on the highway going over 100 boost kick in fine. I've checked for boost leaks and there doesn't appear to be any. Could it be the ignition module near the maf? when it happens sometimes the car wants to die. When this happens i pull over turn it off and unplug it then start up again and it works fine. could this be the probleme?

have you tried to pull any of the engine codes?

yes. Its realy pissn me off. took the car to the skyline shop and they pluged it in to thier laptop and no codes. When this happens the module is realy damn hot. I remember seeing somewhere on the forum about attaching a heat soak but would rather find a new unit. any idea of where i could find one?
one more thing. My oil pressure gauge reads about 4 most of the time but sometimes goes below 2. if the bearings or pump where going the pressure would just be low and not speratic. Oil pressure sensor prhaps? would do leak down test but top mount is such a pain. will probably wait until front mount is in in a few weeks.
Stress
the top mount comes off with 4 bolts, and 2 clamps. it actually takes about 2 minutes to remove.
any regular maintenance done? plugs, wires, cap rotor
you can help some of the heatsoak issue by removing the shrouding around the intercooler, and the rubber pieces mounted to the underside of the hood. also adding a thick washer to the hinge bolts ( replace the bolts with longer ones) helps keep the car cooler.
cap and rotor done two days ago and plugs done four months ago. still havent done the plugs. hope thats it
sorry i mean i havent done the leads. no codes and checked for leaks
