help with leaking trans.

a buddy at work was switching my tires over for me and when he was done he told me my transmission was leaking from the seal where the linkage goes through the transmisson. I have done some looking around on FAST but I have no idea what I am looking for. If anybody knows the name of the part or the part number that would be great! thanks in advance,
alan

I have the same problem, its very slight, but it is there. Its on the rod coming from the shifter? Check nissan4u.com and go under sunny. Its got scads of pictures and parts numbers.

there are three parts to that problem.

32858-06R00-the actual seal
32869-06R00-the bushing that supports the rod
32859-03E01-striking rod boot that keeps the crap out of there

I'm holding then all in my hand right now

I had to order them through Nissan in the us of A, as there are none in Canada or even available to order to Canada. The US had stock however, but there was a shipping delay. If you are interesting in trying to buy them other than at the nissan dealer, a Nissan Axxess from 89 on is the winner for a North American counterpart.

8 and 5 in this photo, and of course number 16 up there in the previous photo.

Just got one for my G20, it's called a 'Strike Rod oil seal', strange name, but works.  They're like 7 Bucks from Nissan.

Yeah I got one for my G20.  What was the part number for it?  It's weird, I found that some GTI-R parts are cheaper than NA counterparts. An OEM engine mount for the GTI-R was like 40 dollars less than from a  P10 G20 and a B13 Sentra SE-R.

It seem to be a problem with theses parts, because mine too is leaking..

Need to change that parts..
