I bought one of these over the winter and it does its job very well.

i'm interested, but i have a b&m short shifter that buzzes after it gets warmed up.
would a stiffer plastic bushing kit clean up the noise/vibration or make it worse?
no doubt on the improvement in shifting with stiffer bushings; i had bronze bushings in another car and what a diff in feel it made.
how is the install done, via the shift boot or under the car??

i ordered the one from that link, they must have sent me the wrong one, because it will not fit any part of shifter rod.

Yes I am that seller. Anthony, I'll send you the installation instructions in a PM. Benmack, I will also send them to you, (I just recently started sending my own instructions, Energy Suspension does not send any in the box). Can you check your bushings - they should say 2278 on each of them. If so, they are the right part and the instructions I will send you when I get home from work will help you finish the install. 91gtirgrey - the bushing replaces the factory bushing on the support control rod. See part #20 in this picture. http://nissan4u.com/parts/sunny/er_n14/1991_2/type_23/power_train/transmission_control_and_linkage/ That being said, it is installed underneath the car, right behind the transmission. After installing mine, I noticed the gear stick vibration was more noticable, only when holding the shifter. My shifting felt much more solid and precise too, you can distinctly feel a difference between entering the gear "gate" and hitting the "side" between gear positions.

Not to pump my tires or anything, but I did group buys for both the UK and Australia GTiR forums 2 years ago, and only positive feedback has been recieved from them.

Mike_cool - thanks dude. I am shipping yours and wingnut's tonight.

I have sent a PM to mike_cool, wingnut and benmack that has a link to the installation instructions I've put together. Install takes about 5 minutes.

Here's another link to another one. I have one left now, if anybody wants it you can either use ebay, or PM me.

Thanks!

Got them in the mail the other day, swapped on in last night, took no more then 5 minutes. Turns out, I already had a set of the red ones in, so I swapped them in as black is faster...

Thumbs-up to Jesse for offering these up and all his help!
