FMIC HELP!!
hey, so i just installed my front mount the other day and everything works great but its boosting 20lbs:s.....i wanna get it down to 12psi like i had it beofre with the top mount... the problem is the 2 lines that hook up to the top mount somehow controled the boost and now i just have them pluged off so theres no leak but i guess this is causing it to by pass the stock boost controller, anyways one hose comes off the intake manifold... and the other one im more concerened about comes off the stock boost controller solenoid... if anyone knows where to hook these up after a fmic install pleaaasseee help... greatly appreciate









wow I'm super confused what two lines that hook up to the top mount... there's only the inlet and outlet on my topmount... mines an ARC so it might be different than stock...

Don't the two lines ur talking about just hook up to each other? That's how it is on mine with stock intercooler.

Ya, just connect those lines to eachother. they were just running though the top mount stock because it was a convenient spot for them to go, connect them and you should be golden.
i hope this isnt the stock t28, u've probably shortened its life significantly
and by not joining those two lines, you've been running no vacuum to the actuator so u've got unlimited boost or to the point where the actuator is giving out
and probably been running lean, dont the injectors run out at like 16 psi, depending other mods?
yes, my injectors are at 100% at 14psi

IT WORKED! i did the 1 bar loop mod too and it goes like no 2mrw! thanks guys hope to see anylocals at some meets!
hey nick, will running lean cause you to lose boost after it hits full? i have no idea about this, but my car hits 15, then slowly drops back off to like 12-13 by full rpm.. just an idea, i really don't know
ryan, you're starting to run outside the turbo's efficiency range with rpm at that boost level probably.

turbo's tired, boost leak, leaky bov, dirty intake.. all kinds of factors i can hold 16psi to redline
