clutch fork broken, job started

last week when clutching, the pedal suddenly became really hard to press,

the problem was the fork it self , the pivot points brook and seize into the tranny.
here are some pictures of what i did . i took me 15 hour of job . to do all this ,
flywheel have been resurface, and the fork welded.
redid all the wiring of the engine,
clean and paint the tranny and transfert case .
remove the AC . ( oh BTW you need to remove the turbo elbow to remote the AC braket)
i'll change the front main sael.
and change all piping, vacuum that had a little crack,
the clutch you see was the one it had ! .. i was surprise, oh and do you know the clutch compagnie kayabe ?

Good job so far Seb, glad you were able to get the fork welded. I spoke with another gtir owner yesterday and he mentioned he had done the same thing to his fork when he replaced the clutch. I`m happy to hear I convinced you to shed that 50lbs A/C junk :)

p.s. find your camera, phone pics suck!!!
