AAC valve, FICD solenoid, and Air regulator REALLY NEEDED?
hello i am going to be getting an intake manifold made to get rid of the quad TB setup and i was wondering if these 3 sensors are needed? i will not be driving the car in the winter and i will be tuning with nistune. i just want to get rid of whatever sensors i dont need so i can simplify my setup. such as i know the ficd solenoid is only used when u have the ac on, and i dont have ac so that one is comin off lol but AND info on these sensors is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Sorry I don't have an answer for you but just out of curiosity, why are you getting rid of your ITBs?
i want to maximize air flow and ive heard the itbs are restrictive. i just want a nice single 90mm tb.

If nistune has the support for them, then keep them. If nistune can be tuned without the need for them, then chuck them in the bin.

two issues..
the Ecu uses all of the above to adjust idle during different conditions, (one of them is using the AC) your using nistune as a piggyback to your stock ECU... If you were going stand alone this would be a different conversation...
1, if you ever change your cams there will be no way the ecu can self adjust for idle and your gonna have a crappy idle or the car will stall etc,
2 your from hamilton, your going to have to etest it... 2 stage IDLE, so (unless you go stand alone) your emissions are gonna be on the borderline or worse...
I dunno man just a thought... have you tried the nistune boards?
Mine isn't bigger than yours.. I just like to drive
if you get rid of those valves you will loose you warm up control when the car is cold- therefore you will have to sit in your car with your foot on the throttle until the car warms up. your idle will also be very crappy
