Lucky me?
Well not so lucky me. ugh sometimes owning a car like this I hate it a lot. First month I got my car I blew the stock clutch I'll let that one go cause this was my first car and learned standard on it then replaced the clutch with an Exedy stage 2 3puck clutch burnt that one out in like half a year. Then bought the OS giken off of nick at the start of summer it's still holding up great! a month after putting it all back together and was on my break in period still a cop see's me running foglights downtown pulls me over did a quick inspection of my car and gives me a full vehicle inspection which I had to pay for and a $1500 ticket it was so big it had to be writeen on 3 pages... I didn't even know that using foglights was illegal you see everyone using them. Heard on some cars that the fogs act as the daytime lights. Now 2 months after that, this morning I go out and find that my door is opened and that someone has broken in to my car... I even have an alarm too I couldn't hear it though but my dad heard it and thought it was just a neighbors car. Man this car attacts too much attention. I've been pulled over many times too accused of street racing even though I wasn't. I never even speed anymore cause I lost my license once already when I first got my license. UGHH I was getting ready to get Nistune and a z32 maf and maybe a walbro pump now I got to deal with this bs and I start school tomorrow too FML.. end rant

I don't believe 'fog' lights are illegal, but 'off road' lights are illegal. You will notice this on other Nissan models that have large lamps on the roof rack. In B.C. they are illegal and have to be disabled either at port or at the dealership during the P.D.I. As far as vehicle inspection goes, the Officer likely does not know all of the parameters that are in the inspection handbook, so passing will probably not be as bad as one may think.
Yeah I know off road lights are illegal for sure hense the name "off road". I even told him that I see everyone rolling around with their fogs on and didn't think it was a problem. Amd my fogs are projectors too so they don't just spread around and blind everyone around. I think that cop was just power tripping so decided to give me so much shit. He was driving the new dodge chargers that he have here now..
shitty beans bud, thats one of the joys of owning a rhd car you get douche bag cops on power trips on you constantly
BOTTLES ARE FOR BABIES.. REAL MEN GET BLOWN
Life's rough yo. I guess I've been comparatively lucky. All I've gotten was an improper muffler ticket with mine. I did however need a new clutch after the first couple months.
must be a rural thing,
never had a problem in Vancouver to whistler to kelowna nor all the way down to seattle.
well i shouldn't say no problems
i did get a 375$ speeding tkt and another 300$ in points..
so... that was my own fault tho
