was wondering what the part number is for the walbro 255 fuel pump that i am looking to put in to my pulsar and is it just a quick install or is there some modification?
Pretty sure its universal and you just have to put the filter off your stock one onto the walbro and its good to go. make sure the filter is pointing the same way as when you pulled it out or you'll be empty before your fuel light comes on. And have your tank almost empty so your entire arm isnt covered in gas while you try to pull it out.
AFAIK you want to get Part Number 400-766
same as for the nissan 240sx
it can be found here: [not my deal, FWIW i paid 180bucks locally a couple years back ... it's now on sale from 150 to 100 bucks aprox via that online site] http://treperformance.com/c-62486-fuel-system-walbro-255-lph-fuel-pumps-nissan-255-lph-fuel-pumps-walbro.html
...to install it there's complete instructions with the kit; it involves being safe, removal of old part, re-installation, [nb points above and other articles] with new filter installed correctly and associated tasks such as crimping or better yet soldering electrical connections and securing bits.
You may need some more good quality zip ties and soldering materials.

gss341 pump with a sentra fitting kit
if i were to do it all over again,
i'd keep the stock pump, and stick a walbro in this http://www.rhdjapan.com/attain-compact-fuel-collector-tank-650cc-20825
thats a pretty sweet piece, would make things alot easier for sure!
Guaranteed to put a smile on the front of your head!
the pumps are 17- 21 years old. Be safe and replace the stock pump anyway.
So should I buy the 240sx one or the Sentra one from that link?
Get the GSS341 Sentra kit and be done with it. http://treperformance.com/i-133072-nissan-sentra-walbro-255-lph-fuel-pump-1990-1994.html
You can maybe find one a little bit cheaper on eBay, just make sure its a legit walbro pump with the fitment kit.
