hey man, would the hood be the same as our stock hood's ? but just in carbon fiber or will they be different ??? if they are the same i will be in for getting one.

they look the same as stock but in carbon fiber..fob price is the hood minus shipping..i have emailed to get a price on 10 hoods delivered to ontario..will let you know on progress.

if so, a lot of vancouver bc ppl can get it shipped to pt roberts or blaine.

the company is based in taipei, tiawan and makes carbon hoods for siebon so they are very good quality..i have also enquired about carbon fenders and tailgate spoilers also.

any chance of having a shipment dropped off in Vancouver too?

how about having the crux lip replicated. I can source one for u in japan for like 350$. Getting it to taipei is a different story.

nearly there guys..10 is the magic number. i will send my own hood and fenders for the molding so its a go as soon as the weather breaks.

but if you guys know anything about carbon weave parts for cars... then it is very important to know what resin is used.

why? because it can turn YELLOW very quickly with the heat of the motor if the proper resin is not used.

i will find out what resin is used...they are a reputable supplier so i assume the quality will be good..however i have also contacted knightracer in england to find out bulk pricing on their products as these are known very good quality products..the buy is still at least 2 months away so i will keep you all posted..no i'm keeping my r. turning it into a serious track car as time attack is suposed to be coming here next year.

yes the correct resin is used and they have sourced a hood and fenders to make the moulds so its a go. i will need full payment to do the order so if you want to give me a call to talk about it tonight would be good. i will be home about 6pm. 1(705)786-9297.
i have to order 5 sets of fenders so there will be three up for grabs after they arrive and will be ordering 12 hoods so there will be an extra 2 as i am going to hang on to these for people unable to go in the group buy now.

crap. I just booked my scuba diving course and more trips down here in oz. I'll send payment when I get home in December for one of the "extra" hoods since I'm skint as an ugly hooker right now.

my car is now off the road and the fenders are boxed up and ready to be shipped to the factory for the molds to be made. i need payment asap so i can get this ball rolling. $500 usd for a hood and $600usd for pair of fenders.

ok the fenders are on the slow boat to china..so to speak. the owner of the aero company emailed me to confirm pricing and delivery times once payment is received. could all interested parties please pm me with a comtact number so i can call to discuss the buy. this is also open to other car makes and models so if anybody has buddies looking for hoods for other jap car such as r32's, s13, s14 etc these are also available at the same price. i am considering doing a buy in the spring on tailgates and roof spoilers. these will be about 1/2 price of knightracer's items.

i guess this was all in vain..now i'm out my fenders as well as i sent them out to make the moulds...arghhhhhh!!!!!! i just want to say that this took a lot of leg work on my part and that of the manufacturer. i guess i shouldnt have bothered and just ordered stuff for myself..if anyone is really interested please let me know as i am ready to give up on this group buy.
