New Mod

If Nick doesn't take it, I'd like to nominate _PegPulsar_ [Ryan, Wpg MB] for a canadagtir moderator as a person with the time and energy to monitor the forum daily.

Ryan's been contributing fairly consistently on a wide range of topics on the forum, and though we don't always agree 100%, i trust that he might keep a close watch on the forum's activities in a vigilant manner and curb the spammers. As Ryan's first and only vehicle daily driven has been the Nissan Pulsar GTIR, the zeal associated with first car ownership may transfer well over to monitoring the forum and keeping it free of spammers etc.

fwiw: The moderator position was assigned the last time if i recall; if a forum vote is to be run, then how would it work? A transfer of member points accrued by member posts etc sent to any candidate then the biggest total holder wins; or, a one 'membership', one vote plan; or as before, appointed?

and i know im not know by everyone because i live away from city centers but i do come check the site every day and woud be happy to can the spam! but please last resort.

Moderation isn't a huge deal, just need someone who's around most of the time.

Just pick someone gti-rrr...as long as he/she keeps people in line when required, and keeps the board clean of spam. :)

Here are our top members in order of user points accumulated, excluding gti-rrrr and myself. User points are awarded based on actions on the site. Each Article adds 10 points, forum topics or gallery images add 5 points, while comments on existing topics and images award 1.
