New here!

Hey everyone, My name is Kelly, I'm from Sylvan Lake alberta, right by Red Deer. I have had my pulsar for over a year now. 75% of the time it is on the road. I have lots of modifications on my car, currenly around 320hp to the wheels.

Just thought I would pop in and introduce myself.

Nice job man your car has pretty much the exact same mods as my car minus the clutch and flywheel and I have 750cc injectors and exhaust manifold. How much boost are you running because 320 to the wheels seems like a hell of a lot for the basic mods you have done. Or have you even dynoed it yet? Are you still running off the stock injectors? If so they must be running at almost 100% D.C. Mine started to give out at 6000rpm before I upgraded...

well it's been well documented that at stock fuel pressure the oem injectors will run out around 330-340hp at the motor, so he's gotta be running bigger injectors. unless fuel pressure is bumped up to 4bar, which will make it act like a 550cc injector. but even then 320 wheel is nearly 400 plus at the motor. 400 plus on a 2871r is tough without big boost

Yeah I'm not convinced until I see a dyno print out of this because 320 to the wheels on stock internals and without touching the head isn't very likely... Or impossible, one or the other. Either way its still a fast car that can smoke most of the 5.0L mustangs out there lol.

Yeah, sorry all the upgrades are not on that post, that was a while back.. I also have 750cc injectors, Upgraded internals, and I had it dynod. When I was running 18lbs of boost it was at 320. I just keep it at 10lbs for driving around though.

Hahah alright that sounds more believeable. Well congrats you have a pretty fcukin' fast pulsar!

Thanks, it goes good, But the body is a bit rough, need to save up some coin and get it all fixed up. And there are also a few little things I need to do also. Such as new clutch master cylinder, new windshield, fix my speedometer, strip the paint off my wheels.

Ah well thats all minor stuff to worry about other than the mast cyl. Have you done any head work to the car and what kind of internals are you running at the moment?

Posted: Tue, 03/03/2009 - 5:57pm

The internals I am not to sure, They had been done before I bought the car. It was pretty rough when I picked it up, the guy who had it before me was kind of stupid :(
