What is the going price of a Pulsar Gti-r currently?
I see most for around 6k, is this accurate or can they be had for much less?
Looking for a white one, I'm in Calgary
piece of advice, spend that extra money and get a mint one if you can, something with no rust and no problems,if you dont your gonna need a big bank balance as parts can get pricey, there a a few excellent import companies that can hook you up.. DO NOT USE JDMTIGERJAPANESE in toronto, you will have nothing but problems, shitty service and if something happens to the car even when test driving its your problem
In edmonton, jdm connection reportedly helps clients, ie v. quality stuff, helpful and post pics for resale etc.; dj auto has lots of parts connections and brought in several decent gtir previously; i'm sure there are a few others out there, good luck.
fwiw: a fellow doing his own import work from here said he'd already spent 10K importing all by himself when i spoke to him, and then unfortunately he had a lower end problem with engine almost right away it got unloaded.
There was an individual jdm importer locally who imported good quality vehicles for a while at a bit more cost, but found people bought on price point and turnover was too slow.
Mighty car mods [who've also done some stuff on the gtir previously] have a utube 2nd season opener about buying auction vehicles from japan [to OZ] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63Y97oLjiuA that might explain a bit
mine was 4,500 in calgary, but they seem to be hard to find for less then 6
1991 GTiR r.i.p
1979 Volvo 262c Bertone
1991 GTiR No. 2 :D
in calgary a year ago mine was $7k, but prices dropped with economy
Noticed anything "funny" with the exchange rates and parts prices lately:
