does anybody else find there pulsar to be a complete nightmare?

since ive owned mine, its been on the road for maybe 60 days out of a year that ive owned it
my latest problem was a puddle of oil the size of my shoe that i noticed backing out of the driveway
i don't know where the oil is coming from but i suspect the turbo as my car is smoking white, not loosing coolant and the oil is dripping from the flex pipe on the exhaust.

any of you guys have a headache of a gtir that causes you stress??
i would sell it, but i got hit and run by a stolen vehicle (i got the plate, it was from an accord but mounted to a cavalier) and my insurance company wont do jack for me, so now its damaged and not worth anything.

the gtir is a old car, old cars needs maintenance especially turbo cars

I understand this, but its only got 120km's. we aquired a grand am for free with 300km's and the problems with that are NONE compaired to the gtir
i would rather be caught dead then in that grand am tho

I have 0 problems with mine. It's really how the previous owner treated the car before you.

I have had a few problems with mine as well. the first year it sat. brakes just stopped working for no reason. rear wheel bearing and now the turbo is completely shot. but when it does go i love it. what are you gonna do with ur car? if ur gonna part it out let me know i could use all the rear panels and back seat.i dont have any of that stuff.

Well, this type of car is not for the faint of wrench, first thing I always do with a car I've just bought besides maintenance is DRIVE IT TO FAILURE ,, this will make it's weaknesses apparent and bam! no surprises.

this is how I found out my car needed ball joints, brakes, and an alignment. thus causing the need for new tires as well lol.
