body colour trim?

body colour trim?

so Im getting my R painted and was wondering some opinions....  the car is going bright white from the marble white... done proper... my question is should I colour match all the molding or not... I think the black rubber is kind of cheap looking but I also wonder if there won't be enough contrast... I have bronze wheels

something i've done is render a jpg image in a paint program to get a reasonable approximation:
with a paint color selection tool you could draw up from the image the appropriate immediately surrounding colour to match and simply bucket fill en mass the black pixels of the rubber part against the white background; or freeform select the black rubber part and remove saturation and increase brightness etc. lots of fun options but bucket fill is q&d

I'd say make the trim white too, it'll make the rims pop. Leaving the trim black would probably look funny on a white car with bronze wheels..

white trim, and paint the license plate surround at the back white too.P1010682.jpg
