I have dealt on a number of forums with a number of business transactions and am fairly experienced in regular wait times. This transaction began on March 12. and I am without money, parts or any contact from the seller - that is obviously a bit much. It has also been 3 weeks without any contact which in itself is cause for concern.

Thanks to those who have PM'd me with info.

If anyone knows if ZNZ is away, sick etc let me know or tell him to contact me so this can be resolved.

Ive done my best to explain my self to mod forum

here's my story

I Left the ECU to be sent out,

In the middle of all this I was buying my first home.. so I did buy a house and it flooded with sewage one week later.  that took the month of June to clean up and straigten out.
I don't have internet at my new home and all the e-mails from this site goes into a separate folder.
as posted above I haven't logged in anywhere since may,,,  for some reason my iphone ignores the folder.. Im not sure why...
Ive offered to repay modforum in full.  Plus return the injectors he's traded me as well as send the ecu.

I realize now that I never labeled the package with mnodforums address.  I then checked our PMs and relized it wasn't there..  It just slipped my mind and sat in the courier bin all this time,,, no one thought to tell me that a box with my return address (which I now have to change anyhow) was sitting there.

So this is an open letter of apology to modforum as well as canadiangtir.

As far as I am concerned it is not cleared up.

Firstly let me be clear that my address was clearly sent twice in addition to being on the package sent to ZNZ - I am unsure why you could not find that in your emails ZNZ but to be absolutely transparent about this I have posted ALL correspondence regarding this deal below. Boring as most of it is you will see my address is clearly sent TWICE! I have this information handy because I have been seeking legal advice in how to take action on this and keep this from happening to other people.

If I receive the items promised to me by ZNZ and a clarification on the fact that I DID send my address multiple times I will be happy to remove this post and consider it F*&king forgotten. Shit does happen and I am willing to forgive and forget.

If not I will make sure that the other forums are aware of this thread and the details of the situation.

Here is all the correspondence regarding the transaction between me and ZNZ - it is not really that exciting but it can clear up any questions regarding my integrity.

Was wondering if you need any MSD injectors as a partial payment on the ecu? I have two sets - one modified for our rails and one set unmolested.
I have a Calum but have been having a hell of a time tuning it...I sold my Field ECU thinking the tune would go faster but now race season is upon me.

I was also wondering where you got your RB Gearbox & LSD? Did you have someone in Japan source if for you?

Using the MSD 50's with the Cobra MAF and either a Jim Wolf or Calum ECU you can run 350 flywheel.
I had bought them back in the day when the dollar was not great and was asking $200 shipped but I am flexible. I have two sets.
One I bought from Low612 the GTIR Forum moderator on the SR20 forum. He said they were not used long but no exact time limits. They were modified to fit our stock rails.
The second set looks a bit newer and are not modified to fit our rails. Would work on a JGY rail though. I actually think I have a GTIR fuel rail modded to work with the MSD's as well back in Edmonton.

I could give you my Cobra MAF If you wanted to trade straight across.

Ok so I have a choice of two sets of MSD 50lb injectors.
one set is modified to fit the GTiR fuel Rail. One set is not modiffied correct?
what modification is done to the first set?

One set has the top of the injector professionally milled to fit in our stock fuel rail. JWT does for MSD injectors.
It also has the trumpets filled slightly so they apparently fit better in our engines.

The other set is untouched and will have to be used with an uprated fuel rail from JGY etc.

Either set is yours and to be honest if you want to switch in the near future we could work that out too. I am not using them right now as I am working on getting the 72lb set I have up and running...at some point.

So the money was resent and the payment went through to fourxtoys. The injectors are in the mail as well. They are shipped ground so hopefully next week.
That it a really interesting series you are running. Looks really fun and competitive.
I run autocross or solo 2 as well at time attack/solo 1. I was running mostly in Edmonton last year but will be competing in Calgary and Edmonton this year. The solo series is really competitive in Edmonton with one of our senior members winning his class at the SCCA final event. They let me run in SM which means I am up against all the fast STI's and Evo's but still manage FTD often. My goal is to beat the lotus exige this year! My car is a full tarmac car with 9lb front 8lb rear springs...I want to take it to some national time attack events in the future...see how much money I have!
How did the ECU test go? Look forward to a reliable tune again as I learn this new ECU.

Car Did not start on either ECU I might have an ignition issue with my new set up..... I haven't run the damn thing personally Im going back to the stock set up tonight so i can test the mines to make sure I hate sending out bad parts!!!!

Hmmmm....that is not good.
Have you had the Mines running previously?
I am sure you know but the GTIR Ecu is pretty sensitive to power surges from not unhooking the battery when changing.

well I switched to a COP setup and a MSD box over the winter... both ECU's worked fine last fall. with the OEM setup.

I tried the Mines first and not dice. then the Stock ECU.. Same responce.

So I switched it all back to run stock and nothing. Im really good electrically Diode isolations the works... I hope I Def had a home brewed ignition setup and really hope I haven't smoked both ECUs... Im going to test my stock one on antoer SR powered car.. this is so lame...

How much did it cost for shipping etc? I Will repay any money you've outlaid and ship back the injectors if this dosn't work out.. so if you haven't shipped the injectors hold off until im sure... GRRR...

Maybe you should try shipping out the ECU to me and I can plug it in my car and see. If no go then we will know and can figure out a plan from there.

Ok so Im prety sure I smoked both ECUs when I built my custom coil on plug set up.. I tried the mines first to get it out to you.. and well nothing I tired the oem ECu and nothing... I went back to stock still nothing... Ive sourced a spare one and am going to try it out.. I hope it comes in ASAP,,, as far as our deal maybe if you give me a running total for the shipping costs and the Money you sent to budy I can refund you and send those injectors back.. this is a total shit buz and Im sory to drag you through it... I really couldn't send a part that could cause damage to some ones car... if I ever do get that mines ECU to work I'll sell it to you cheap, for your trouble... the front grill I receved from 4Xtoys is gonna be one expensive piece by the end of this!!!!

dont apologize to me its not your fault,,,Ive found the coulpret to be the new connector I made for my distributor was shorting and back feeding 12 volts to the tach signal... I replaced the voltage smoothing capacitor that blew in the stock ecu... I totally for got to Diode isolate the new setup... GRRRR ne how so the stock ECU works... I'll crack open the mines next to see.. the only good news is the coil on plug set up should work!

Ive got really good news actually... I figured out there's nothing wrong with the mines... I didn't open it or anything we tested it on a gtir powered sentra and it ran the car fine... I did retest it on my car and mine ran as well... I'm really confused I did need to repair my stock ECU... so If I could still send it out to you Id like to do that .. will send it out tomorrow... could you give me your address? im sure it's in my PMs but just in case.. Im really sory about this...

Since I have not heard back from you in two weeks I can only conclude I am being ripped off.

Thanks....I do not really see the "entertaining aspect" of trusting another small community member with money and hard earned parts and then being ignored for several months...maybe if you really believed in ZNZ so much you could have helped reach him?

I think that although ZNZ was going through some shit that it is generally never appropriate for a community to nonchalantly accept flaky interactions and negate others sincere and honest business dealings...this is also especially important considering the whole reason I was asking for the product was to support my racing season which I am actually dedicated to. I am cool with ZNZ but your comments do not support the positive support of the community...you should have helped, contacted him or offered some feedback earlier...now it is inconsiderate to me or the apology ZNZ is trying to make.

It is cool now...your belief that is was going to be ok makes little difference but thanks anyway.
