Posted: Mon, 08/03/2009 - 6:37am

good time! i ran 13.5 @105mph with 2.2 sixty foot. i dont wanna break it lol. i have exhaust tubular manifold and garrett 60-1 turbo

a stock pulsar is supose to do 13.9 on the quarter mile .

and a good sixty foot is 1.7 or lower for a AWD .

i did 14.009 on potenza re01-r , oil cooler, stock boost , bad suspension, and a sixty foot of 1.9.

Posted: Tue, 08/04/2009 - 3:11pm

mines not exactly stock...it has an ecu and exhaust...nothin really large for times but my clutch was slippin pretty bad! buti guess well see what happens when i get a new clutch...and my 60 foot was 2.0471 and 1/8 mile was 8.9578

Posted: Thu, 08/06/2009 - 7:47am

how did you get your boost to only 6 psi?

i dont know my boost controller will only let me got to 9 tops...i dont get it...and when i do the one bar loop itdoes not do anything but i do get compression serge...so im getting a bov installed and im going to see if that does anything...also if i take my controller off it does not rais the boost at all..im stumped on the boost issue....also i have tested it to 20 psi with no leaks

Posted: Fri, 08/07/2009 - 4:27pm

Maybe your wastegate is done. When you stomp on it and it hits 9, can you here like a "flapping airy"( kinda like a bunch of little blow-off vlave going off). If so it could be your wastegate opening and closing really fast. I know my buddy's last srt4 he has did that, it would only boost to 9.

Posted: Fri, 08/07/2009 - 6:24pm

no its not flapping or anythign just when i realse the gas its serging...because i have no bov...im tryin to track one down for cheeeaaaappp just so i can keep boostin around thatll get me goin again...im runnin low on funds and its my daily, i dont want to be blowin no turbo gaskets

Posted: Sat, 08/08/2009 - 1:17am

i bet you have a hairline cracks all around the wastegate hole so that the flapper can't keep the gases from escaping, else your actuator is poopy.

Posted: Sat, 08/08/2009 - 7:04am

ill keep you guys updated the problem...im goin out to the shop tonight to keep tryin to get my clutch in!...im about 7 hours into taking the transmission out...it jsut wont come i dont get it...and then we are going to try to hook up a bov and fix some vaccuum lines

Posted: Sat, 08/08/2009 - 7:57am

yeah apparently a clutch swap is a pain in the ass job... I saw some posts online about how to do it with the engine in place.

Posted: Sat, 08/08/2009 - 8:33am

ya i know i read into it it seemed like the better route...but i think we may just drop everything today!

Posted: Sun, 08/09/2009 - 10:44pm

My GTI-R ran a 1/8 mile in 6.6 secs. It only had a K&N intake and a exedy stage 2 clutch at the time too.

Posted: Mon, 08/10/2009 - 5:29pm

^^ you realize thats bogus fast.. thats like an 11 second car..

Posted: Mon, 08/10/2009 - 5:38pm

ya that is a little excessive my 1/8 was 8.9! 6.6 is a little unbelievable for just an intake and clutch

Posted: Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:14pm

:S maybe it wasn't an 1/8 of a mile :S cause I have the time slip and everything. I'll double check it then.

Posted: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 11:17am

I was wrong it wasn't an 1/8 of a mile even though the track claims that they are. I'm the one on the left that finished with the time of 6.650. I was racing a rx7 with a chevy 350. Anyone know what I would run with those numbers in a 1/4 mile?

Posted: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 11:45am

thats a random distance to record. isnt 400 meters a quarter mile? they have 384 feet...? which is like, 120 meters. not an 1/8 mile, like a 1/12 mile or something ridiculous.. i dont understand that slip... mufflers are required?

Posted: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 12:16pm

Yeah such a random number that's why I thought I was doing 1/8 mile, but nope. And I was in the street class so it needed to be street legal so you need a muffler. But any ideas what that would be if it was a 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile?

Posted: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 12:33pm

hard to say, you can't really judge something like that, i'm assuming somewhere around low 14's high 13's. thats just based on the other peoples too.

Posted: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 12:57pm

youwould be looking around a mid 14 sec pass for that slip...plus you jumped the light...so you would be lookin a high 14...my 330 ft was almost a full second faster then urs and i had a decent reaction time...soo you would for sure be running a mid to high 14...sorry to say bud

Posted: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 1:15pm

How do you know I jumped? This was my first time ever running and my tires were really bald. I was running on kumho ecsta ast so I got a lot of wheel spin. What rpms do you guys launch at cause I was launching at 4k

Posted: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 1:32pm

because perfect reation time is .500... if you have under that you have jumped you got the red light

Posted: Fri, 10/16/2009 - 12:34pm

I ran a 13.1 with a simple HKS Mushroom filter and 2.5" exhaust on 9-10 PSI of boost. Shortly after i installed an HKS EVC and an Apexi SAFC2. Unfortunately with my lack of knowledge at that time i set the EVC to 15 PSI (man the car was faaaaaaaaast) and went to start tuning the AFC and ended up melting a piston after running for about 3/4 Mile.

Ready to try it again properly this time, except i no longer own the "toys" that I had put in before. I wish I had at least been able to get to run a time trial to see what 12's i was running...

Posted: Fri, 10/16/2009 - 3:48pm

where on earth do you see that? perfect reaction time is .000

.000? hows that work? you gotta give the lights time to do their thing. i always thought perfect reaction time is .400. watch nhra, guys are always getting like .438 and stuff like that. get under .400 and you jump the lights..

Posted: Sun, 10/25/2009 - 8:36pm

1/4 14.008 60/1.8 96mph ihave stock pulsar with exaust lick etc

Posted: Wed, 12/02/2009 - 1:29pm

12.92 @ 105mph 1.89 60'. 1.1 bar, ks rom ecu, 255 lph, 3" exhaust, centerforce clutch, Greddy fmic, HKS mushroom with 2 3/4 intake pipe, 17" rpo1's with federal 595s 205/40/17. 5500 ft DA. I could have shaved it down but the clutch was starting to slip. Exedy stage 2 next year.

Most tracks have this accounted for in the reaction time and on the slip a .000 is perfect.

runned 12.41 1/4 miles at 17psi with 560cc evo @ 3bar, walbro 255lph, z32 maf, 3inch exhaust highflow cat/exhaust, hkc evc 5 boost controller, hks fmic + hks blow off, stage 2 clutch. with 91 octane fuel with my personal tune on stock ecu. if someone want my tune.. i can share it for little money no prob. i know its hard to find something well tuned.
