Need an O2 sensor - Anyone got one ????

Hey guys

I took the turbo/manifold out the car to fix a bunch of broken and loose studs. Ended up pulling the white wire out of the O2 sensor

Does anybody have a spare they can sell me

I remember hearing that the 300zx o2 sensor will work but you will have to splice your original o2 wiring harness so don't throw away the old one!

get a s13 skinny o2 - same part

so both s13 skinny o2 sensor or 300zx tt o2 sensors are the same?
what about knock sensors? i need one and i was wondering if the sr20det for silvias are the same types of sensors..thank you very much

As per this link: http://nissan4u.com/parts/info/2206030P00/ the Knock sensor is shared amongst many many cars including the S13/240sx with the KA24D

Curious about wideband O2 sensor replacements for the gtir.
I'd like to have wideband sensor with a digital gauge that would feature A/F ratio, EGT, Lambda, and if possible display mpg or l/100. Maybe dreaming on the last one.
Is there really much of a difference that is noted in performance or smoothness or economy from narrow to wideband?
What wideband kits are in use to replace the stock gtir and how good are they?

Thing is that the ecu wants to have a narrowband signal at all times to keep it from going into mega rich mode where it is impossible to detonate. I've had to tackle that scenario in the past and what I've done is installed a Zeitronix Wideband controller which has a simulated narrowband output(0-1v) for the stock ecu. This way you can ditch the stock o2 narrowband sensor and run only a wideband which are easy to find and replace. Anyways it is an option and one that I will be using once my o2 sensor gives up.

The Zeitronix wideband unit is quite inexpensive when compare to other solutions. It has full data-logging capabilities(with laptop or Palm) and they also have a bunch of different options for in-car gauges.

Thanks, i liked the Zt-2 + black LCD Display bundle; the base setup looks good for starts. the display is just what i am after, and datalogging would be a gas. I hope it would work parallel with the nissan consult cable.

The Zeitronix logging happens on a Serial port so I imagine the USB consult cable will work simultaneously. BTW I've had all three displays: black LCD, Palm Pilot with ZT pocket logger and the new round multi-gauge. I do not recommend the black LCD if you're winter driving your car, the LCD refresh rate is crawling when it's cold out. Their new gauge is really good, however, you can only see one output at a time.

Cheers, and thanks for info. The new round combination gauge unit really looks good, but I'm still leaning to the multi-display LCD monitor mostly because of mounting options and features. Had similar LCD display issues in temp extremes; they'd go blank under very hot interior conditions too. Once out of the extremes the display was visible yet unobtrusive.
How do the different A/F ratio guages compare for night driving, do they have a dimming feature?

Wondering when the wideband oxygen sensors do eventually fail, are the symptoms the same as a narrowband o2 sensor?
ie. output voltage lower [reads lean] and with fewer fluctuations [slower needle & lights] & then low A/F.
