is the car federalized and EPA certified ?This is important for US buyers. excellent price if it is.

what is What the efff...it would be neither and NO that doesn't matter in the states. Unless you have to Smog it...which would suck...then you move to a different city and walla! Cheers

yes it does matter actually, a Federal legalized imported vehicle wont have any problems with registration or getting insurance... to be exempt from this the vehicle would have to be 25yrs or older... also most people arent gonna buy a vehicle if they have to move in order to drive it.... AND moving from one city to another does nothing for legality unless you move from state to state, but again teh vehicle still has to be at least state legal...
as for a canadian buying this vehicle from the usa, that brings in a whole new set of rules... if the car is on the R.I.V. list of allowable vehicles then it can be brought into canada under the riv program, BUT since it is at least 15yrs old you can navigate around the riv program...
so you shouldnt have too many problems selling it to a canadian... if anyhting it might be easier...
however at 10,000$ the price is a little high for the Canadian market(also was that in CAN$ or USD$) the most i have seen a GTiR sell for was 9000$ but it was immaculate and in perfect condition, the seller also had no timeline of when to sell it which is what kept his price high... if you say 8500 obo you are more likely to have people interested but at 10k its too high for our market... but good luck with the sale, and i hope you are able to screw your ex's sister, unless of course that is what caused the divorce in the first place :P

Sup, Thanks for the heads up on "C.A.D" market price. Might have to drop it that low, need to sell this ASAP. The vehicle has a valid NJ title, NJ registration and NJ plates. As far as EPA and DOT cert, "you have to check with your state blah blah blah" The only JDM vehicle ever petitioned and approved were the R33 GTR and GTS and not the 1995 model. So with that said and all the JDM vehicles running around, there is your answer. Don't care if this "pocket rocket" stays south or goes north, just want it to go to a good home and be loved for the unique car that it is.
