Carbotech Brake Pad Group Buy
This is the fifth year (see SR20 forum for that history) that Carbotech has joined with me in offering a group buy. You will get 25% off the Internet price if we get twenty axle sets in this buy. www.ctbrakes.com is the website for more information about these products. Whether you're looking for a performance street pad (Carbotech Bobcat), an autocross pad (Carbotech AX6) or a dedicated track pad (Carbotech XP 8, 10, 12, or 16 series) Carbotech has the brake pads you need. Final price will include conversion to the Canadian dollar, all applicable taxes and shipping fees. Items can be shipped anywhere in Canada or the U.S. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions.
This group buy will close on March 1, 2012.

This Group Buy is moving ahead. Funds need to be committed now. PM/email has been sent to those who expressed interest. Send me your email address and what product you're interested in if you'd like to participate in this GB.
i have carbotech on my R, my opinion is that bobcat compound is too smooth even for a daily.
i should have bough Ax6 maybe

I would agree with that. Let me know if you're looking for another set.
interested. Running stop techs right now, and have no complaints with several autox on them. I have run OEM pads and EBC yellowstuff in the past. Yellowstuff ate my rotors in less than a year. They stopped great, but I never had a chance to test the fade. The stop techs have never faded on me and they stop as good as the yellow stuff as far as my butt dyno can tell. Both pads would out brake the tires anyway.
Can you recommend a carbotech pad for me? I took a look at the site but all that crap means nothing without real world experience. I'd rather not have to change pads, but I'm looking forward to some lapping this year.

I can't see our car in the listing. Which should we choose? Also, can someone do a price/performance comparison for us?
GTi-R, the best ugliest car I've EVER seen/driven. You can make it cool, you can make it fast but you CAN'T make it look pretty.
same as nx2000

Lynx answered the first;as far as the price/performance comparison that's probably something you can find on the Internet. Sorry, but it's just beyond the scope of what I can provide.
As far as choice, PM or email me your driving style and I'll give some suggestions.
AX6 for performance street and some autocross.
XP8 for aggressive autocross/light track use.
XP10 for aggressive track use.
Above that, race level.
Carbotech is expensive - group buy a good value - and a great product. I've used them for about 7 years. Have them on my NX, my Ford E450 and soon my RX8.
This group buy is now closed. Thank you.

Mine isn't bigger than yours.. I just like to drive
50 axle sets moved through this GB. They will be sent via FedEx to purchasers very soon. If you were picking them up, please contact me if you haven't already heard from me.
