Beta Spec rolling shell...

Beta Spec rolling shell...

Selling this Beta shell, it used to belong to Beta GTi-R on the forum here, then went to TWR32...  I bought it for a few parts including the trans and t-case.  Not interested in fixing it up as I don't have the time.  Not interested in parting it out either, no time/space for that too.  If you want parts, buy it and part it out if you have the time/space.

No engine, transmission, tcase, interior, front bumper cover..

Has some old school Watanabe style 14" wheels, rear diff is in, but leaking.  Axles included, but both fronts need boots. under body skit plates, fuel line covers, under car mud flaps, front skid plate mounts (Plate was not on the car when I got it.)  Crank windows, no power locks

$1000.  Pick up only.

No holes in the floor other than where the cage was bolted in.  Solid shock towers and lower control arm pick-up points.  When Beta GTi-R had it, the exhaust was run into the cabin and out through the side above the rocker.  Rockers are rusting, not rotten, and have a few dents in the pinch weld.  Good glass though..

As a side note, the wheels are Enkei, and weight nothing! Also, has most of the dash and center console.

round trip?????!!!!  how fast were you going?

Got a quote for shipping it down here: $1900  Sorry Wingnut.  I would buy it if you were local, but the world is still pretty big after all.

Yeah, shipping is a killer with a non-drivable car.  I don't have the time or patience to do a full part out.  I'll grab a few easy bits, and off it'll go....

I'm actually interested in this as a rallycross project. If I can get it as a shell with doors/glass/etc.

Give me a shout (seveneighty.twoseveneight.eightzerothreeseven) or hit me up under the same nickname on the 780Tuners forums, as I just peruse through here every month or so..

Bryce.

Hmmm... Tempting.... I know where a half cut is just about 10 miles from me... I wonder how much of a pain that would be to drive that far with a dolly on my Toyota... ?

Going to get the windscreen removed this week, so I'll take $500 for it as it sits, or it'll be off to the scrap yard....

Has alpha doors on it now, and the rear hatch is black too.  Other glass is all good.

So, is this being parted now? Or are you just taking the pieces you need and scrapping it? I'm interested in the exhaust from the cat back, if you're parting, what size is it?

Posted: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 4:53pm

Still not interested in parting it as I have WAY too much on the go.  Selling as is, minus windscreen.

That sucks... I still need mirrors, left tail light and power window switches, driver window regulator, and some other crap...

To far for me to drive for a parts car... =(
