i dont want to come off as rude but i keep getting really lowball offers on these brakes. i realize there "used" but i think im being pretty fair in my asking price. its 100 bucks off of the fastbrakes asking price plus no duty and no tax. and they literally have 15 minutes of use. 25km. i am asking what i think is fair. So please keep the lowball offers. if i dont sell them ill find another use for them. its not the end of the world. im already losing a good chunk of cash by selling them at the asking price as is. sorry if i sound like a dick. i will entertain reasonable offers closer to my asking price.

sorry to sound even ruder, but have you looked at your own pictures? The brakes are dirty, the hardware is starting to rust, there is dirt and grime around them . . . which would be fine after 25 km (or 15 mins of use) ------- if you drove the car through a bog or swamp or really wet and muddy field . . . anyways, is your name shawn clarke?

The site has been known to have issues loading pictures on the first page draw, refresh the page after loading it and you might see the pictures of the wilwood kit, albeit not the best shots I agree.

I believe he has two kits for sale, one wilwood kit from Fastbrakes and then he has those Outlaw calipers as well.

im not sure what rust your talking about. the wilwood brakes are new. the outlaw brakes have been on the car for 3 years. the mounting hardware is fine on the wilwoods. i know the pics arent that great but i didnt want to take the wheel off just to take a pic. the wilwood brakes are new as stated in the first post. the outlaw are about 3 years old and work just fine. i didnt think it would be a big deal that i didnt clean them and make em all shiny. i will take the wheel off to take a better pic and i will clean the other calipers up so everyone is happy.

That would always help the sale. Especially on something like brakes :)

so just to confirm - the wilwoods are the fastbrakes 11" kit for the b13?

and the wheels they are sitting behind are the 15" white buddyclub p1's as seen in your gallery?
if so - do you know if they're the QF or SF model? (and/or their width and offset?)

yes that is the same kit. the wheels are 15X7 buddyclub P1 QF. off the top of my head i dont really remember the offset off the top of my head. in that picture i was using my outlaw brake setup the only pic with the wilwoods is posted here. they do fit behind 15s tho i have tested it with my P1 wheels. I am now running 18 inch racing hart wheels now.

what did it take to run 18" wheels i also have a set of 18" racing harts but was always too leary to try them out.

for me to run 18's all i had to do was use a 5mm spacer to clear my brakes on the front. my wheels are 18X7.5 and i have no rubbing issues at all. handling is great i love it. i also have 18X7 wheels that needed the spacer as well.. i used the spacers all the way around to keep everything the same.

these are the 18X7.5 with a 5 mm spacer. i think the offset is 42. maybe its 40 dont remember.

well Im sorry to thread jack but since your on the subject,

Where did you get the spacers from and did you have to run extended wheel studs?
I did buy a set of extended studs and I know I should use em while running a spacer but I want to do some test fitting before I go to the trouble of pressing in new studs..

i did not have to change wheel studs. i already had the spacers from another car.i just put the spacers on and bolted up the wheel. it was that easy

they'd be +35 then :) lovely wheels...

so are the brakes off the car? if so, any chance of getting some dimensions of the rotor?

i know they are 282mm diameter (A) and 23mm thick (C) but am looking for the overall height (B) and the centre hole size (E)

There is actually a long story to this. Im not going to get into the whole thing but what i will say is that i was not willing to put out another 1200 bucks to make this idiot happy. i tried to resolve it many times. ive been on this board for a long time and i dont know 1 person on here who can have anything bad to say about me. in any dealings i have had i have been polite and done everything i said i was going to do except for when i made arrangements to buy some parts but then got laid off. life happens but other than that i have paid people and i have sold some parts with ZERO issue in the couple a years of being on this board.And if the dealings of 1 person are going to be a problem then it is what it is. As stated before i tried many times to resolve the issue but he refused to co operate. i do not have a pic of the gearbox. its still in the car actually. i havnt pulled the engine. its ready to come out i just havnt had the time. it is a full genuine quife gearbox with a nismo lsd. as for how much hp it can hold i dont really know. many people have run 500+ hp with no problem. i will be pulling the gearbox out in the next couple a weeks. family obligations come first. but i am workin on it.ill see if i can get out to the shop and get some pics.

H O L Y Smokes. Looks like somebody has a ton of explaining to do - I had a friend interested in the brake kit but after reading that he doesn't seem too interested any more!

The calipers apparently have 25kms on them and the bolts are all rusted out ya sure its got 25 km on it buddy. Went racing on the salt? FYI electric tape is not very good for repairing flex hoses.

what electrical tape? and rusted bolts? if ur talkin about the brakes in the box then i get it .also if you look really close cause you must be blind you will see there not wilwood there outlaw and there 3 years old.

on the car where u cant see the bolts then your talkin out ur ass. there is 25 k of use on these brakes when the pics were takin. now theres about 50 as i am not driving the car right now.

ok. now i have time to get this explained.First as far as what Lynx said. i didnt mean to offend him or anyone else accept the guy who was trying to get a rise out of me. he succeded in that and that was my fault for allowing him to do so. If he had read the thread everything he said had been addressed in more than one reply. so to anyone who has or had a problem with what i said i do apologize.

Now as far as Potoss here we go.

Back when i didnt know too much about Pulsars and i had problems with my car i decided to part it out after i had spent a ton a money on it and it failed on me yet again. no one wanted to buy it so parting it was the only option i was left with. I posted the trans up and i had several offers on it but no actual buyers. then comes along Potos and says hey ill take it. so we talked a bit and then made a deal. he paid for the trans and i was out of town at the time and he knew that. So once i got back home i had to wait to move the car to my friends to get the trans pulled. i got it out and sent it to the address HE PROVIDED. a short time later ( i dont remember exact days) the trans came back to me BECAUSE HE PROVIDED THE WRONG ADDRESS) I was also on the hook for the return shipping because if i didnt pay the trans would have been gone. During the time that the trans was sent out i was going through a very nasty breakup. Not that that is his problem but it was the reason for lack of comunication. I always stayed in touch with him and let him know what was going on. so long story short is i lost my house my family and then got laid off. not that this is of any concern to you guys but like i said it all played its part. so once the trans got back to me i informed him of this and double chrecked the address he gave me and HE told me that it was incorrect and gave me the correct one. SO as i was putting my life back togetheri made arrangments to resend it to him. BUT i also stated to him that i had to pay the shipping back to me and then back to him again i was not going to do that. That was not ok with me. He provided the wrong address to me in the first place and that was not my fault so i didnt feel i should foot the bill to have it shipped back and then ship it back to him. in the end i would have had to pay $1200 roughly in shipping costs wich meant i would have given the trans away. i told him this and he didnt want to pay to have it shipped back. at one point he said he would but then changed his mind. I at that time was going thru my own shit and didnt get online didnt have money for anything i was getting killed with child support and other legal issues associated with my breakup and with no money coming in i couldnt do anything. i had various things on the go and was trying to raise the money to send it to him but that didnt pan out. im not saying i was totally right in this as i made my own mistakes no doubt. i ended up going back east for a while and had a job lined up and was starting to get shit back together and then i got laid off because of breakup. i was back to square one. i didnt have a computer so my contact was limited. i got back home and started a new job i was gone with work in camp for extended period of times. with 48 percent of my money coming in going right back out the door to paying my x and my kids i wasnt left with much after my living expenses were dealt with. now what he decided to you dont see in these emails is the many many conversations on msn. he had a lot more contact and knew more about what was goin on in my life than most did. to me he was saying i understand no problem thanx for keeping me informed etc etc. behind my back he was actually emailing my girlfriend and talkin shit. this pissed me off and it didnt stop there. he was actually emailing some of my friends as well all of which knew the story and he was even emailing me sometimes in the same day i talked to him. i did offer to give him his money back a couple a times but i was going to need some time. he was ok with that till literally the next day when the emails started again. i didnt respond to every email he sent. i was annoyed. i would update him so he always knew everything that was going on. then he started emailing my friend who the money was sent to as i didnt have a paypal account. I was unable to get and account on paypal because i didnt have all the required information at the time so my buddy said you can use mine. we used paypal to protect ourselves both him and i. that ended up causing problems between us and i ended up giving her 1800 towards clearing up her paypal because he had put in a dispute. to this day we have not spoken. so 1800 went to her to be put on the paypal account to be refunded to potos. the day i gave her the money was the last day i saw her.so between the 1800 i paid out and the money i paid out in shipping and what he expected me to pay to re ship it i would have given the trans away for nothing.so no i did not send him the trans and no i wont be sending it to him. i finally got into a better place in life and managed to rebuild my Pulsar so the trans went back in my car. so is there a reason i havnt spoken to him in im guessing 10 months as he says ? yes because i dont feel i owe him anything more than what he has gotten and the cost of a good friend and nothing but a headache all this time some my fault and some his. so there ya go thats my side im sure i have forgotten some of the details and im sure he will chime in and say something. other than that i dont care anymore. like i said before the whole thing isnt going to change a damn thing. now its my word against his and its up to you guys to decide for yourselves. i have said my piece and i am not too happy to have to have put out personal shit to people i dont know but i dont like being made out to be an asshole when even tho the last almost 3 years of my life has been a legal and personal battle and is my personal business not really should it be shared with tons of strangers who i dont know. once it was all added up i would have been paying him to take the trans and i wasnt going to do that. so let the comments begin. over the entire time i have been a member here i have never screwed anyone over and it seems all it takes is one person to ruin ones reputation. so be it as i said earlier.my activity on this forum has always been in good conduct and i am upset that this has come to this and the only reason i am explain this situation is because i have enjoyed being a member of this great forum and i have enjoyed being as helpful as i can and learning from others on here as well. i apologize that this has caused problems on Canada gtir and i apologize to all the members this is not the place for this to have happened. and to clear up one last thing i did not run from anything i have the same username on all forums i post on and this one is no exception. on the sr forum i did have a different username only because emy normal username was already taken. so i hope this clears it up.

I wouldn't pay again to get the transmission shipped. I'd be asking for proof of shipping receipts. Shawn I think you're lucky that this potoss guy doesnt live near you, otherwise you'd either be getting a visit from him, or into some legal trouble at the very least.

You claim it would cost another 1200 dollars to ship back to him? the first quote was just over $500!
