thats the on eill be buying, or the other idea is go to jrp, buy a basic one there and get the guy who fabricates all the piping to make you the piping. ill be going to hijm for my downpipe etc

OK What about front and rear brakes ??

advf22 calipers, identical to that on a nx2000, go to parts source and get pads and rotors. I bought mine form there OEM brembos. cost me 60 bucks for the rear pair. pads were $36. ill post up part #s tonight

yeah man,need to get a small meet for us going soon when it gets warmer, not that it matters and when i get my exhaust on, car sounds like ass coz theres more holes in the exhaust than a hooker on the weekend lol.

wheres a mutually middle place to meet? any ideas? I know the guelphracing club will be having meets soon if you guys are interested in coming or we can have our own... maybe go an show up the torontonissan meet lol

Yeah.... I saw you getting insurance. I work next door at the Toyota Dealer.I got insurance through Wayne at State Farm couple months ago, now he is telling me his underwriter doesn't want to insure the vehicle unless I transfer all my other vehicles over to him as well.(not sure of the exact reason till I investigate further)He originally put it under an antique classic car policy as a 2nd vehicle. 32$ a month. Have to go back there tomorrow to get a quote, but I am pretty sure he won't be able to really touch my Presidents Choice policy (who won't insure it), so I am not sure what to do.Its a 3rd vehicle for me. I don't really see the issue. What did he do for your car? If you don't mind me asking.Is it your primary vehicle? Pm me if you don't mind chatting.

Hey Just posting up for my buddy here in Brantford. (He's computer illiterate LOL) but does own a GTIR, so not such a bad guy

He's been driving it for the last 1 1/2 and has been though 2 winters (almost anyways). Last week he hit a curb and bent up the front ball joint, tie rod and split an axle boot.

So now I have to help him find and change the parts for him.

I'll try to post pics of the car later

hello folks, I just joined the site. Dont have a GTIR yet but looking for one to buy soon. I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction as far as what to look out for, where to find one etc. I'm in GTA. Also, Ive never been in one of these, so anyone would be kind enough to let me check out their car/ give me a ride/ give me some pointers, I would be really grateful, that way Ill know what to expect.

pay the money and get one with a decent body- take a mechanic and look for the usual problems- dont go to tigerjap in toronto- if you want to take a look at mine im sure i could meet you in mississaug some nite

you wont find a more fun car, awd turbo that weighs about as much as a taco bell turd.. great for track great for street- if you do get one dont cheap out on any mod spend the money and do it right lol, there are too many cars that can compete with a gtir
