Radiator fan dont kick in...

After severe examination on the cooling system, I can't find any clue why my radiator fans doesn't kick in.  I dont have a huge amount of hot air coming out of the traps inside the car, the two heater core hoses are becoming very hot after a period of time...

This is what I done on the car so far:

-replace thermostat with a 76degree nissan oem

-replacing the ECU coolant sensor on the back water elbow, the one with the red two wire connector

-replace the 30a fuse in the engine compartment named rad fan on the fuse box

-checking the blue relay named fan rad in the driver side engine compartment fuse box, it clicks when tried on a 12v battery

-bypassing the relay, the fans spins

-bleeding the coolant

-replacing the radiator cap with a oem nissan rad cap

-tightening the lower flushing drain plug

-putting the car on high jackstands with a funnel full of coolant on the coolant cap and waiting for the coolant to boil in the funnel instead of getting the fans to start.

-drinking beer until the car gets cold and beating the crap out of it because thy're snow outside and the car gets cold at speed...

I dont have any more clues on how to fix that without putting an electronic fan controller with its own coolant sensor in the lower rad hose...Time to call for help.

I had the same issues.. not sure what was wrong ...

Honestly I just wired a realy in with a direct source from the battery and installed a switch in the cabin......  I also have aftermarket fans now.. and an upgraded rad... car stays cool after many laps..

So, you remove the connector on the fan assembly and start from those two wires to get your circuit running with a relay in between. Can you describe me the schematic you'd use to get it running, please?

I already have a switch on the dash right next to the hazard button, might use that one.

Might fuse it 30amp with a fuse holder on the 12v wire??

Should I remove the OEM relay in the fuse box?

-Turning on manually the fans will be practical after lapping sessions and traffic jams.

I know how to do this on my own but I cant explain it any better than this...

http://www.davebarton.com/pdf/coolingfandiagrams.pdf

Id ignore the temp sensor circut and just use the overide relay circutI

also I  prefer to trigger realy with ground... so use your switch to interupt the ground to the realay (pin 86)

to do this just ground one side of your to
