my car is making humming/squeeling noise from around the power steering. my power steering fluid was low so i topped it up and its still making the noise. any ideas? blet? pump? or that it just needs to be bled
It sounds like the pump might be failing. Not fun to replace as it is in the most awkward place...just like the starter.
You don't have any leaks either? The hard line split on mine and I have to replace it along with a new pump.
Sounds like your pump is gone , they dont last very long if you run them low for extended periods , I have a few if you end up needing one

thanks its gotta be the pump then. i had low powersteering fluid for a while without me know. think i can get it from the bottom if i jack the car up
