190kmh top speed removal procedure??

Is there any way to remove the top speed limit of 190km per hour??? I dont want to remove the cluster and put a speed cut defender or all that kind of electronic gizzmos... I dont want to mess the wiring. Is there any other way of fooling the car is not doing that speed.

Cutting the signal to the ECU???

make it retune ...

thats the best way ..

why would you do that anyways, except if your hiting that speed on quarter miles or on track which is not often .

Mont-tremblant circuit on the north shore of mtl is built to maintain high speed. In the longest stretch, for sure, the car can get more than 190kmh. That's why I want to delimit. Imagine getting passed by an E46 M3 you've put 5 cars behind for the rest of the circuit, but it takes the first half of the other lap to get where you were before. I dont want to see him after I pass him. These cars are very competitive where I lap. Good drivers with deep pockets, those are the ones I like to take down with my 6000$ pocket rocket.

^^Best reason ive seen yet.. crush em..!.

theres a few boxes out their HKS  ect... any ECU reflash (mines ect) will do it..

HKS "Speed Limit Defencer" is the proper name for that box if I rember correctly

but It needs to remove the cluster ans weld all sort of wires behind the dash. I think im gonna ask my tuner to remove it with Nistune.

edit:

after my post, i called my tuner and he told me he can remove the speed governer with nistune... TEAM ACSP in LAVAL, best SR20DET tuner in PQ. Patrick Dumont, certified AEM tuner.

Just don't do one of the ones you have to wire in behind the cluster. I had mine in. It worked for a year or so then crapped out, and fried my tach in the process.

Speeding in a straight line doesn't excit me anymore unless it's at least 220km/hr haha. I have a Mines ECU for sale if you are interested. I just removed it from my pulsar a few weeks ago. Works perfectly. PM me if you are interested.
