Modena Torsen Front LSD

G'day Canadian GTI-R Brothers :)

Just letting you know that Modena currently have a small number of Torsen-II front LSDs in stock (leftover from a failed UK group buy), ready to ship.

(note: unlikely they'll be doing another batch for a very long time, if ever)

Price is $1100 AUD + shipping (~$100 AUD worldwide).

So a current-exchange-rate DELIVERED TOTAL of roughly 1250 CAD / 1150 USD.

Apparently they now have credit card facilities so no international bank transfer required.

Email or call Frank/Tracie: [email protected] +61 3 9782 4420 (GMT +10)

You may have noticed I have spammed all the fourms/groups with this - which is in hope that they will all sell and Frank will change his mind about making a centre diff for our cars (which apparently is all designed and ready to produce).

Mention you're from the club and we'll get kudos :)

Cheers,

Shalom

Good question!

Unfortunately:

Frank said he has no idea what that torque bias is, sorry.

Kind regards,

I think that probably means "he doesn't care enough to go and find the original design from 8 years ago on his PC and look it up" :)

Since it's a T-2 (aka Type 2 or Type B) I think it has to be between 1.4:1 - 3.0:1,

and it seems 1.4:1 - 2.5:1 is common for fronts,

and having been driving with one for years and not noticing any inside wheel spin on hard tight cornering (like with the open diff),

I'd guess the high end of the scale...
