My GTi-R Build suggestions

Hi this is my first post here. i bought my R about a month and a half ago and it looks like it belonged to other users on the forum (Niksa And Paulb1320) : http://www.canadagtir.com/forums/buy-and-sell/for-sale/fs-1990-nissan-pulsar-gti-r-0#comment-14939
i got it for real cheap for having a blown piston ring and spun bearing. it has OZ matt black rims, blitz air filter, arc bov, and a glowshift boost gauge. i just shampooed and cleaned the interior and and it looks factory fresh other than the infamous cracked dash everybody has. so anyways im looking for the right parts to put in my build and would like some suggestions on  what to use. heres what im planning on getting soon:

Pistons: CP Pistons (will order after the cylinder head gets machined)

Con Rods: im deciding on either getting Eagle rods or getting my oe gtir rods balanced /w new APR studs and cryo coated if their in decent shape. what should i do?

- APR Head studs
- Tomei Metal Head Gasket
- Cosmetic Engine Gasket Set
- All New ACL Race Bearings
- New OEM Water and Oil Pump
- All New Plumbing (Rad, Heater Hoses)

My Brakes are shot and my Rear suspension are non existent (super hard suspension) and i have no idea of what to get. i wont be doing any track days but i am an aggressive driver so ill need brakes and suspension that will cope with that. Any Suggestions? im thinking Wilwood brakes and some cheapo monroe coilovers which i heard are like the oem coilovers.

what Clutch should i get?

Anything else i should change while the engine will be out?
Does anybody know any good shops or mobile mechanics in calgary

Im looking for some parts:
Drivers side Sideskirt Endcap
Front Tow hook cover
Hatch Parcel Tray
Passenger seat slider leaver moulding

i have an extra Gauge Cluster thats been tested and works fine just replace a couple bulbs.
i had a problem with my tacho, it would just bounce up and down and stick so i took it out and tested it on a signal bench and it was fine. then i thought o crap it would be the tacho signal wire coming from the ecu and i dident want to dig through hundreds of wires so i just put back my cluster and left it alone. then a couple of days later my dad took out my battery cause his car battery was dead and i later sanded the terminals and put back my battery and started it to make sure it would start and my tacho started working. i guess that it reset something in the car when i replaced my batt so anyone with cluster problems try that before prying your dash cause its a pain to remove and put back in.

what are the aims of your build; use - track, fast road drag etc? What sort of power out put do you want?

I want a quick reliable daily driver to use all year round winter and summer. Im looking on making around 400awhp with an upgraded turbo(gt2871r). I want to make it a neck breaker, more torque than hp.

More torque than hp with these engines requires a stroker crank and if your wanting a 'reliable' 400awhp be prepared to spend big bucks. Probably the best way to look at it for reliability: Find someone who has successfully achieved at least 500awhp, mimic their build, run low boost and kiss your fuel economy goodbye lol.... Do NOT get your con rods cryo'ed. Your sacrificing flex for strength and con rods like to flex :)

p.s. I have Darton sleeves and APR head studs for sale if your interested.

Have a look at my original spec in my members car's thread. It'll be pretty close to what you're after

Stroker kits are expensive i was thinking of getting new cams, valve, springs and a RA stopper. iv already ordered the headstuds. is there anything else i should look into changing when the engines out?

All the hoses at the back of the block (under the intake manifold), and get the power steering (Rack and Pump) overhauled.

gaz Beware the lollipop of mediocrity, lick it once and you'll suck forever.

i just got the block open and found out that the piston in cylinder #3 is chipped. there was oil everywhere in the intake pipe, manifold, and Throttle Bodies. I think oil must have went through the air vent on the valve cover back into the air intake so i have alot to clean up. I'll Post some pics later. im also gonna replace the hoses cause most of them were dry-rotted.
